Saint Malo is connected to all major cities in France and Europe by train. There are direct high speed trains to Paris-Montparnasse (2 to 3h train ride). Otherwise, you should take a train to Rennes. Local trains run every hour or so between Rennes and Saint Malo (1h train ride).

For more information and timetables, please use the French railway website at voyages-sncf.fr. The English version is not great, sorry about that.

The closest airport is in Rennes with flights to various destinations in France and Europe. From Rennes airport, there are regular buses to the Rennes city center. You should then take a local train to Saint Malo. Please consult the website of Rennes airport for more information about this airport and how to get to Rennes city center.

Major international airlines fly to Paris Charles de Gaulle. You can find high speed trains to Rennes running direclty from Terminal 2, within the airport. If train times from Terminal 2 in Charles de Gaulle do not suit you, you should make your way to Paris-Montparnasse train station and catch a train to Rennes or Saint Malo.
